Is is worth it to buy the pypes High flow ceramic catalytic converter kit? What does really do to the car? Does anyone know if in texas are required? I just wanted to take them off i heard it gives a better flow to the exhaust.

The high flow cats pass in Texas. We're pretty laid back. I'm not too sure what sound difference you would get, but don't expect any power from it in a six...

If your going with a whole new exhaust system you might as well get them. And unless you live in a county that requires emissions test, like Dallas county and other large city counties, you could probably go without cats if you wanted. However, v6 mustangs sound like complete crap without cats.

I've got true duals. I couldn't be happier with them. The headers won't be that great either. If there are other mods you want to do, you may consider skipping the headers. I need them cause mine are leaking, but if you're are ok it probably won't change that much. If you get anything, I'd reccomend some long tubes. The H pipe may give you a deeper sound, but not by much...

depends where you live. All the counties are different. I've read that SA is getting real strict with possible sniff tests and others which will make o/r pipes fail. I think Austin's pretty strict as well along with all the other large cities. I'm still rolling with my IL registration haha so I haven't had any testing done yet..
