engine swap
ive been working on my car a lot lately and am starting to think of a newer project. i was initially wanting to do a supercoupe swap awhile back but decided not too, so the split port swap seemed to be the best alternative. now most people i see just swap the heads and intakes but my engine is racking high on the miles and if its not that much more in cost why dont more people just swap the whole engine assembly? what i was thinking was buying an engine for around 400 and rebuilding it. now i know the fabrication that takes place if u just swap the heads and intakes like the fuel rails and such, but is it just a straight forward swap if ur doing the whole engine besides a new computer and tune or is there any other work that needs to be done? then i was planning on buying the power pack from ssms and just switch those heads intake and cam before i swap the engine in. does that sound like a good plan? thanks guys
