Engine swap. Lincoln Mark VIII for V6
Okay, Now that i have the looks on my car complete im now looking to do an engine swap. 02 v6. My uncle has a 94 or something lincoln mark 8 with the quad cam v8. i know it isnt as good as a cobra engine but i cant remember why. I can get the engine really cheap is why im interested in doing this. So if i were to get it, how much mods would i have to make? Would it bolt to my auto tranny? how would the wiring harness work? change my gauge cluster? I think im looking for rednecks help, but i havent talked with many of the v8 guys around here. Thanks for all your time!

seriously... ditto that.
Now if you don't care, then you'll need a 4v B-head intake (96-98 cobra), injectors, fuel rails, underhood wiring harness including tranny harness (front to back if you ask me man... too much **** is different), ECU, tranny, motor mounts, clutch, rear end, drive shaft, headers, mid-pipe, catback, sway bar, front cover, accessories and a tune.
My advice, don't swap a 6 car. Sell the 6 car and find a cheap 8 car, even a NPI 8 car and then we can work with that without breaking the bank. Otherwise you're going to spend about 6 grand getting that muvfukker in there.
