V6 performance??
I've been looking around for performance parts for my 2000 3.8L and dont know what to do. I need help on what would give me some good performance.I don't want to spend a ton of $ on it though. So far i have a Mac catback exhaust and an americanmuscle CAI.So what should i do next? Links for the parts would be helpful.
Thanks

You're going to spend some serious cash if you ever want to run that thing hard and have some power.
Best things to do right now:
Gears and a posi (also known as a tlok) Gears: if you're an auto 4.10s if you're a manual 3.73s posi..get one for the 7.5 same as the gears.
Master bearing kit for the gears

windstar intake swap is suppose to be a nice upgrade for your year. it is a relatively cheap mod if you can get one from a salvage yard. i picked one up for 26.00 the other weekend. there is some other modifications you will need to do along with just the intake. but nothing major idt.

Honestly if you want to be fast on the v6 you need to do a power adder or spend good money on a n/a wild stroker. Me I would do the basic mods like cheap cai, true duals, underdrive pulley,4.10's,T-lok(fords name for their posi unit), and tune, then spray it with a 100shot. There just is not alot of CI and you need to make power to go fast. I respect the v6 power though.

im workin my way up to all of that but i just have a question with the nitrous.. will the stock and what spike just listed support the 100 shot of nitrous or will there be more additions along with the nitrous? sorry not trying to jack ur thread bro lol

Oh..and unless you're using that 100 shot for top end (which won't do much for you 1/4 mile time wise) .. I'd get an 8.8...
Throw some simple boltons at it, and a tuner, call it a day if you don't got the cash, because very simply put, it is going to cost you some serious cash to actually get it to run really strong. Not trying to put you down or anything, but, its kinda an age old saying
"However fast you want to go, all depends on how deep your money runs."
