problem? grinding

Default problem? grinding

Hey i get a lgrinding sound when im my car changes gears. Also like when im parking, making a quick turn. I dont know what it is. Its not the exhaust though, i just got that repaired. Does anyone have an idea? an extimate will help. Thnx

I guess its a good thing you got those muffler berrings fixed dont need those things to start grinding and seize up. LOL


All BSing aside bro. That grinding could be a number of things. I dont know where to start to help you with the little bit of info here. More info if you can.

Another posibillity is to have a friend (trust worthy preferred) drive your car really slow while you crawl/walk beside it to try to listen to where the sound is comming from. Thats where I would start out to diagnose this myself

Does it grind,pop, or squeal when you turn?
Im not all that mechanic-savy, but one thing could be a ball joint somewhere?

check your fluids. but it could be like a mess up with the parking gear.. Like have u thrown a car into park while its rolling? it makes a grinding noise, maybe its something to do with that.

its more of a grinding sound than anything else.
