I wanted to to go long tubes on my v6 and i love d way magnaflow sounds so i was wondering if this setup of mac long tubes with their mac shorty h pipe and a gt magnaflow cat-back could b done
ive also heard that u can loose to much back pressure if you go with an off-road H pipe.... is that true?

Not bashing but it seems like alot of money to spend and alot of trouble for minimal HP gains.I'd just do a O/R X with Magnapacks.

If you HAVE to replace your headers, go with long tubes. I sure wish I had done that. And you will notice a big sound difference for sure. But the money could go to things that would give you more power/driveability.

If you are going to do more mods like nitrous or a blower or head/intake/cam upgrades then long tubes are a must to make good power.

Teals car made over 300rwhp with just mac long tubes, and H-pipe with dumped magnaflows and an ATI 11psi procharger kit. That thing ran very good. Pulled my car when I was off the bottle. His lighter base v6 > my heavy premium GT.

Oh the back pressure myths lol. Don't worry about that crap the car will lose some low end power and gain a good margin in the upper rpms.

Dumps are when you run no tail pipes and have the exhaust dump right down after the mufflers. That setup is called having dumps, and Teal has dumped magnaflow mufflers.
