Default Halo lights for 05+

Hey guys just got my borla axel backs installed with my custome H-pipe they sound SO AMAZING! I love the combination with my BBK CAI.. was well worth the 700 i dropped for the parts and install. Anyways I was wanting some Halo lights but i was wondering i see they have 2 sets of bulbs... are they a combo of headlights and fogs cuz that would be sweet :].

And any other opinions with what I should get next besides a tuner and a police scanner =P

Thanks all ill get picks up soon of my car and maybe a vid ^^

it's the high and low beams. I'm personally not a fan of the halo lights however, if you like it thats what counts.

Good to hear you like your exhaust. Other option is a CAI if you don't have one to go with your tuner to wake your car up. Then of course there's gears as well

I have a BBK CAI. How drastic is are the tuners performance wise i dont want to through away 400 bucks when there are so many other things i could get. SCT seems to be favored over diable sport tuners any ideas why?

SCT allows far more tuning options than the Diablo's do. Diablosport USE to be good in the fact that they'd let you adjust everything, but now you're better off going with the SCT.

The SCT is favored by wayyyy more companies and if you ever get serious most dyno-tuning places prefer the SCT versus the Diablo. With it you'll see an increase in pretty much everything (throttle response, exhaust sound, and of course power).

You could expect probably another 20-30 hp/tq. If you're going to be getting more mods the SCT can only help even more. The tuning of the car allows other mods like TBs and heads to add even more power.

I'm trying to find an exhaust system my self. I want one that sounds loud and deep/mean. What year is your Mustang? When I stop being lazy I'm going to make a thread about a very good Police Scanner. Stupid question, but what is TB?

Hey man yea i would highly recommend Borla the best part about them is its all that you described and they NEVER pop or sound ricey or whatever was so worth it.. I have a 2006 V6 4.0L premium. A TB is a throttle body spacer I am looking into the BBK one to go along with my BBK CAI. Also i have heard good things about the V1 radar aka valentine one. Also another one that has slipped my mind atm that i have heard good things about. Im interested to know if they track police cars or just the radar's..

Dont get a TB spacer. It does not do anything. get an actual TB. Just get a BBk 70mm TB (Throttle Body) I love mine. I have and 07 4.0 and have a sct tuner TB, C&L CAI and it is awesome you wont regret getting a tuner. Check out VMPtuning.com. Justin specializes in SCT tuning for V6 mustangs. I just order dual exhaust for mine and cant wait till it comes in. I order a JBA kit with their H pipe.

Actually I was thinking about getting a pair of halo lights myself. I don't think they look too bad but I'm looking more at function and than looks, anyone got any suggestions? One of my lights is aftermarket and its driving me nuts, looking to get two identical ones asap.

Get the ones with the LEDs that run up along the side if you do. I would recommend buying HIDs rather than halo's but it's your own preference. Do what you like and **** anyone who tries to make you do otherwise.

Yeah I had been looking at the HIDs, but I'd like to replace both because of the non-oem headlight. I was thinking Halos because it looked like they may light more evenly than the one I got.

I've also heard that 6000k is the brightest you can go on them and still be street legal is that right?

There's no way you beat an '04 GT.

My old GT (when it just had a cat back) hung with an s197 GT with exhaust.

My girlfriend has an 07 v6 mustang with a CAI. It's quick, but not even half as quick as my old GT.

Unless he was literally the worst driver ever, and it was a stock auto GT vert with like and the guy weighs like 500 pounds. And his wife and fully grown kids were with him and his wife also weighs 500 pounds.

I've whooped plenty of '03 and '04 GTs in my car, even before all the mods. I mean like 10-15, and there's no way you can tell me they're all bad drivers....
