my question is which CAI sounds and has the best performance for a 2005 v6 mustng? I've been told that BBK is good but cant decide

 

all of them dont really give you any performance, all it does is just make ur engine breath better.

and as sounds.... really dont know about that. Whenever i bought the Aftermarket CAI from AM.com, it made a whisling sounds but whenever i got the 56mm BBK Throttle body the whisling went away. It sounded like the tip of a vaccum cleaner (Not the vaccum itself but whenever its sucking in the air but thats whenever i would give it sum gas)

 

hey dude, i have an 02 mustang, my fav model, i think personally it sounds better than the 4 liter in the new mustangs. BUT on my car i have Cold air, and i have 1 flowmaster 40 in place of the stock muffler. I think it sounds great. Of course the best CAI u can get is a K&N one, but i got a 75 dollar one, u wont get no more power out of all of them. just looks under the hood and ALOT Better sound IMHO. I feel more power out of mine, but maybe it was becuz my K&N was a little dirty.

 

You want a CAI that requires a new tune as those are the intakes that make power on the 05+ cars.

 

i gota BBK CAI cost bought 180 bucks and it makes the car ride much smoother lowers my idle a bit and gives it a lil bit deeper sound, and when ya gun it you can feel a slight difference, i love it and have had no problems with it
