mpg's
Well today i just went to fill up and i figured out i got 25.1mpg and I am pretty stoked. With mixed highway and city and my gears i think thats damn good. So whats everyone else getting??
Wow, i rip around alot on mine, i havent averaged mine, but now with gas prices the way they are. It's 1.60 where i live. i put 15 dollars in, thats almost 10 gallons, and i can drive to school 2 days a week from where i live. and ill have a quarter tank left over. bout 200 miles. So i get an average of around 20-22mpg, when im on the highway i run slow for a bit till i eat breakfast then i go around 80-90 the rest of the way. In town i always rev it up and accel hard. and on the country roads of ky, i always rip around with it. So i guess i get pretty fair MPG's for how i drive.
last time I checked mine I got 25-26 highway, and that's when my '04 V6 was stock, and I read the V6's are suppose to get around 28 on hwy, so I wasn't overjoyed, but I wasn't dissapointed.

I'm guessing that I get around 20 mpg city. Isn't there "instructions" on how to be fuel smart in the owners manual? I remember reading them once, it just tells you the mph you should be shifting gears to be "fuel smart". I doubt anyone uses this. I usually shift at 2500 rpm regardless of where I am.
Dang 28, very nice. I average 25.5. I drive highway to and from work but have to drive through the city for other things so it brings it down but. 25.5 is not to bad. It is a big drop from my last car which i averaged about 36.
Thats pretty good mileage. I get more miles to the tank in my GT than I did towards the end of wen I owned my v6. I never accurately measured it but from school to home, it would take 3/4 of a tank in the v6, and 1/2 a tank in the GT. And it was really obvious when I still had both and would drive the v6 to the parts store or something like that.
