Default any last thoughts?

ok well I'm about to purchase the powerpak from supersixmotorsports I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or suggestions before I invest in this project... Has anyone on here bought a powerpak on here from them and if so how did it meet ur expectations?

well your year is single port heads. I would get split port heads and intakes and have those ported and get a cam matched to your needs and goals and go from there. Spending money on single port heads is like trying to make a cavalier into a corvette.

isn't the 99 models have split ports? If so could I just buy that powerpak for the 99 model and put that on or would that not work?

Yes 99-04 are split port cars. I'm sure they have a package for the split port parts powerpacks onto 94-98 cars. If not its a pretty simple swap to get going.

Yes the heads, intake (upper and lower) bolt onto your motor and flow tons better then your stock setup even unported. You will have to do some modifying to make those parts work on your motor, but its not to bad. I have posted links etc.. before do a search to check it out.

Sounds like you need to do some research on the split port swap before you order anything.

what about a 4.2? Thats what i wanna do with the 4.3 stroker kit but if im gonna spend that much money i might as well buy a v8. Thats just me though, the v8 sounds better too even though id find more pleasure in spanking kids with a modified v6 lol

dude you should go for the 4.2 but i already decided im doing the split port swap with that whole pack... its the biggest purchase on my car so far but it will be worth it! im going to go and just take my block out while im tearing it apart and remachine it to clean the cylinders out and put new piston heads in. hopefully i see some changes!
