Default T-LOK on the 4.0

I want to do the "posi" T-LOK on my Mustang with the 4.10 gears. Has anyone done this?? And do I need anything besides the bearing kit, gears, and 28 spline T-LOK (from AM)??

I'm taking it to a shop. I want to make sure its done right and i wanted to make sure i have everything. So thanx guyz. If i had one more question about this, it would be: am i gonna notice a significant difference in power with the new 4.10 gears??

Gears do not add power. you will notice a significant improvement in acceleration tho.

Assuming you've still got stock gears, yes you'll notice a difference.

Alright so i've been thinking about this and I'm not exactly settled yet. I'm not sure if i should go w/ the 4.10 gears... ... I was talking to a friend of mine and he said that w/ 4.10s you'll feel a lot more accelleration off the line, but wen your cruising you'll wonder where all the power went. Plus, it'll eat up even more gas w/ the new gears as well. What about this guyz. Is it true/ or worth it??
I have dual exhaust on it already. But i wanted to get headers for sure, and the 70 mm throttle body. If i put shorty headers on it and Magnaflow exhaust, can i make her sound significantly better (without changing the midpipe) What would be the best option for me?? I want this car to sound fukn great... my girlfriend gets off to that ****. Help me out.

shorty headers are a waste of money and so is trying to make power threw a Y pipe. You need to run either run an H pipe or true duals to actully improve flow and make power.

As for the gears you will cruise at a higher rpm (duh the gears are a lower ratio) however your city mpg normally improve as the car does not have to work as hard to get to speed, but your highway mpg will drop 1-3 depending on speed you travel at and other things. Also I do not know wtf it means when your cruising and you will wonder where all the power went? that makes little sense to me.

I have after market dual exhaust with an H pipe already. I want it to sound deeper though. But scatch all that Spike... I'm setting something up with this guy for a couple grand, he's gonna build me headers and a turbo system. That would kick ***.

ranges anywhere from as little as $150 to as much as $600 some people have paid. You have to search around for the best deal and someone who knows what they are doing.
