Default can i use this exhaust?

i was looking in americanmuscle.com and was thinking... can i use a COBRA exhaust on my V6?... i was looking at this one right here

http://www.americanmuscle.com/slp-lo...ack-cobra.html

the reason why i was looking at a cobra exhaust was because i just ordered a Cobra SVT Type R body kit... hood.. front bumper...and wing... and i wanted to at least have an exhaust thats Cobra too

so is it possible? or do you have any recommendations

thanks

you don't have an IRS rear end so no. You can use any GT catback as long as you get rid of the Y pipe

your body parts arent going to effect what kind of exhaust you can have. you have to get an exhaust that can fit your v6.

Yes that would work IF you also got either an H pipe made for a v6 OR have an exhaust shop custom make you a midpipe/run straight pipes from the mufflers to the headers. The last option and probably easiest is to buy this as well: http://www.americanmuscle.com/v6duexadkit1.html and that will adapt your current mid pipe into something that will work with the GT catbacks. However, if your planning on adding a S/C down the road your better off ditching the Y all together and going with one of the options mentioned above

yes if you buy adapter and the catback it will work. The other option that I mentioned may be cheaper but you need to call and get quotes from exhaust shops to figure that out

An exhaust shop could make you a set that flow better and costs less in most cases. Its well worth it to call around and get some prices on a custom true dual setup.
