Default for v6 guys that want longtubes

http://www.ninosport.com/Mustang/199...4Pa38Ta38Paxb0

I didn't realize this but mac makes a long tube header for 94-97 and 99-04 so I guess headers aren't pointless for v6's anymore..... all except for my 98 anyway

It makes no sense that the design of the engine would change from 97 to 98 i mean maybe 98 to 99 but i dont understand it and i keep hearing drastically different information from person to person

That it depends on the air injection port on the header or something involving the mid pipe and some tubing, I dont really know much about this stuff so its like another language to me, but i have heard from multiple sources that the only performance boost would be to change from the short headers which are stock to long tube or to port them out more?

it's possible that these will work http://www.ninosport.com/MAC-Longtub...2&category=100

but because it says that they don't I doubt they will

usually the 99-01's header will work with the 98's .....
LT's are the ONLY header choice that will net you any sort of power increase on a V6.

It varies, I picked up about 14.7 at the wheels.
Some people I know only picked up about 10 or so, but I have never seen a LT dyno that showed less than a 6hp increase.

Default Longtubes

I just read on some website that in order to install the longtube headers on a 98 v6 you have to lift the engine to do so. Is that true anyone?
