Question Brakes help!!

I am going to start autocrossing my '00 v6 and I want to upgrade the brakes for that and daily driving. Anyone have a suggestions for what pads and rotors are good and wont kill my wallet.

go with new regular rotors if yours are bad aftermarket rotors don't do that much unless you go bigger but you will feel that in the wallet big time. slotted may help a very small amont but no worth the price as for brake pads get the most aggresively rated for the rear and the next step down in aggresivness for the front this will give you a more even front and rear braking ratio because front brakes generally do the majority of the braking

Like Lazerred stated, stock blanks are the best rotors. Don't get caught up in the marketing and hype of sloted and drilled rotors. As for pads, I recently put in a set of Hawk HPS pads and have been very pleased with the bite they have, over the stock/stock replacment pads I had. I've ran the HPS pads at two AutoX events so far. They barely dust and are not noisy. The next step up from thoes are HP+ but they are going to be more aggresive on the rotors. You could also get the Cobra brake upgrade with would supply you will plenty of stopping power for you v6, even with stock pads. Also check out the Grand Sport 6 pads from Satisfied. I tried to order some from Tirerack.com a couple of months ago but they were back-ordered or out of stock for around six weeks, they should have some now.
