Default Another split port thread

Alright I am planning on doing the split port swap for my 98 sixer and I have a few questions.
To start off with I am going to get the kit from ssms because it has everything I should need and it saves me a lot of trouble.

Question 1 will I need a new fuel pump and will I need different fuel injectors

I know the kit should be good for about 40 hp give or take... becuase the 98 cam is different than later years.

Question 2 does anyone have a reasonable guess as to how much more I could squeeze out if I port the new heads and intakes before I start taking my single port apart.

I really want to do this swap becuase I like my v6 and don't really want an v8 and if I do the split port my future mod potential is much greater.

I've done it, and if you ask me since you will have it apart do a better cam while your at it aswell. Your gonna have the whole top end off just swap the cam out to instead of doing it later on. The swap isnt to bad. Just some things have to be changed to do that top end on that car. For fuel it depends on what you do to the car. Stock split port parts wont need more injector.

Yeah I was planning on getting a cam from ssms at the same time I get the split port swap stuff

another question I have is will the underdrive pulleys that I have for my 98 still work after the swap or do I have to put my old pulleys back on.
