Alright so I have been tossing the idea of a split port swap around for awhile and I think that I will probably do it becuase I can take my old upper and lower intakes and heads and port them to sell on ebay or something. plus I can sell my throttle body and CAI.

What I want to know is this (I don't plan on doing it it's just stuck in my head) would this work with it because the engine is basically a 99 v6

and how do you guys think a 98 would look with a shaker

the shaker would be able to be done, but idk if it would look good. its a muscle thing, and the sn95 mustangs just don't have the muscle "look." too curvey.

Well its made for that style body not the 94-98 cars plus it doesn't do **** anyhow. I say do the split port swap its not super hard (I have done it) and the power gains are nice. Keep your stock cam as the 94-98 has a more aggressive cam then the 99-04 3.8 cars IIRC.

Yeah I really wasnt planning on doing the shaker because I had heard they don't do crap and $800 is a whole hell of a lot to pay for a hood orniment I just couldent get the idea out of my head.

intresting, didn't know that about the cam. but still, a cam from RPM or supersix is going to be more agressive, right?

of course they are. if your going to do a split port swap (and have the money for it), you could do a powerpack swap, heads, more aggressive cam, lower and upper intakes, all port polished and the like. i am considering doing it for my '98 mustang when i get the money.

Of yeah, but stock for stock the 94-98 cam is more aggressive then the 99-04 cam.
