we all have choices!
Ok, so being mustang owners i have found that we have alot to choose from for our cars. fortunetly we have all the cool people on mustang forums that help us out.. so the choice ive run into is this:
should i hang on to my 2000 v6 stang and fix it up and make it "my own"
or...
Should i upgrade to a 06 or 07 mustang GT?
thoughts anyone?? haha

However, that is going to cost ten fold what it would to make your V6 'yours'
Please explain

Ok, those two options don't really seem like two feasible roads to travel. Two completely different price ranges. If you have the money to upgrade to a newer GT you should, even if it isn't an 05+

depends which one you like.
for way less than it would cost to buy a new GT you could build your engine, buy a turbo kit, upgrade tranny and rear. and run 500+rwhp.
So it is really what you want and like more.
The 05+ Gt's are nice but my favorite body style is the 99-04.

Thanks. It was listed for something like 23,500 with 10k miles on it. I think I got it "out the door' for that. It has a few appearance mods and was pretty much a new car. The guy who owned it (for a year) traded it the minute the Bullitt came out. My first mods are on the way (JLT CAI and SCT3 custom tune)

Selling cause when i bought it i was single with no kids and i could afford the payments easily.
Now im married with 2 children and i just dont really need this extra car payment. So i plan to sell the mustang and next spring buy a mustang 5.0 project car.
she bluebooks at 16,900 (NADA Bluebook) and i have over 5,000 into her. I am willing to sell her for 17,000, not a penny less.
She just rolled 30k on the odometer, she is in near perfect condition mechanically and cosmetically.
2004 Mustang GT Auto Premium w 40anniversary package (painted mirrors, no spoiler, etc)
She turns a LOT of heads.

sorry, not trying to be rude or anything but 17k. why not just add 5k more and have an 03 cobra. they sell around 22k-24k sometimes less. ive seen one for 19k with 50k miles.
my 2cents.
and for that matter. if your wanting to spend that much on an 07 GT, why not look into the 03 cobras. built motor and get 450-470rwhp with pulley and exhaust.
hell, there was one that was posted yesterday on svtp for 23k with 40k miles and pulley and exhaust. which means he is minimum 450rwhp.
