Just went outside to check, the other inserts are a tad bit taller and the the top isn't as rounded as ours were...
I'll keep looking to see if I can find any for our scoops, I'm sure there are some out there...

LOL. Have actually considered them, just wanna see them in person first to decide if i like the look of them. I do like how they are cleaner, and elimate the fakeness of the stock ones though.

i dont think i had ever really seen all-around shots of your car except for the shaker install pics, jack. from what i see, it looks damn clean. the interior really looks clean. i always loved the way the tan leather looked with a black mustang. too bad you have to let her go, i may be in the same boat as you soon...
on another note, hows little wolverine?

I knew this had come up before. man, your car just does not look lowered, or it's just the most subtle lowering I have seen to date. car looks good...busy, but good. (rental car owner's opinion) hahahaha.

Yah, the stock black inserts look horrible on a black GT, cause the insert is actually a very dark grey and it doesent look good. I cant remember where i picked those up, i had one for the hoodscoop on my stock hood as well
Yes it is lowered! lol. I ended up trying out those new-fangled Sprangz DD's from AmericanMuscle back when it was MustangTuning.com,. they are the orange ones.
It lowerd my car about .75in in front and 5.in in the back, pretty much the same as ford C Springs will do. Not very drastic, but if it sits next to a stock 4x4 mustang you can definatly see a difference.
I always wanted to drop it some more but as it is i am about 1 inch from hitting my chin spoiler on the driveway, so i kept it as is.
Once my 220lb *** gets in it drops a bit more. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHA!
plus she was sitting nearly empty on gas, so some rear weight is removed.
As for the mirrors, yes, i actually have a REAL 40th anniversary edition mustang. Not all 04's were 40th anniversary, despite the fact they all had thier badges.
The 40th Anniversary edition included Cobra mirrors, arizona beige bullet rims, arizona beige side stripes and rally stripes, a 40th anniversary plaque behind the shifter, spoiler delete, and 40th ann floormatts and they were ONLY availble in White, Black, and Red.
however i did yank off the stripes. lol.
ONe of my favorite little touches was the removal of the tin decorative pony top on the stock plenum and sticking it on the front of the shaker intake. lol.
As for the interior, it is nearly mint with exception of the slight wear on the driver seat. I dyed all the opper panels black, and in the winter time when i turn on the heater i STILL get new car smell. lol.
With the cowl and swindow sill replacements i got, and the bumper on the way the car is about cherry condition. Im gonna list her for 18.5, and let somone talk me down to 17.5k. ill be happy with 17.5k but i refuse to go any under, i would rather keep it instead.
That claybar job really brought the shine out with the carnuba wax. the pics really dont do it justice. I went out about an hour ago to pick up ssome wings and there were so many people checking out the stang it was rediculous. lol.
