I am looking at 3 different tires for some 17X10.5 deep dish bullitts to replace my rear wheels and tires. It is a daily driver and I want to know what you guys would go with if it was your car. These http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes ... These http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...03&rd=17&ar=35 ... Or some BFG G-force T/A KD for $253 per tire from tirerack.com. Thanks for your time and feel free to tell why you would pick the tire you did.

depends on how much you want to spend. i have the sumitomo's, it's a great tire for the money. you wont be dissapointed. but if you take it to the track a lot get the nitto's imo.

I take it to the track every once in awhile but not to much for the simple fact its a stock auto and ill run 14.5's all night long no matter what I do. So you are happy with the sumitomo's? I would much rather buy two tires for the price of one of the others. Im looking to get some pretty good traction on the street so would the sumitomo's be good for that? Also how is the tread life on the sumitomo's you have? I dont want to have to keep buying new tires for a daily driver.

Well let me put it this way I had the sumitomos in 315 and I just ordered my second set. They are an awesome tire for the $$. Of course a nitto or bfg drag will hook better but I have about 15,000 miles on the sumitomos and they are no more than half gone. I ordered the second set due to the reduction in price, they are my reserve.

For a stock GT if I hit the gas and have the same sumitomo's you have will I still get good traction and not much spin? Basically what I want to know is if you are happy when you punch it?

AHHHHH forget it. I just realized something. Even if the tires wear down on me after not to long then I could get another pair of sumitomo's for the same amount of money I would of spent on one pair or BFG g-force's

yeah the sumitomos are good tires, and you'll have good traction. with the stock tires when i used to race somebody i would spin so bad through first and second and chirp third. slower cars were 4 car lengths ahead before i would even start moving but now i hook pretty good. if you're not going to the track all the time then just get the sumitomo's. i've had mine for 6 months.
