neither will add any. I wouldn't buy an O/R H-pipe though. You had straight pipes put on right? hell just have that cut into an H pipe. No reason to pay for an H pipe when you already have 3/4 of it on your car now. I would just have that done at the same time as the alignment of the tips.

ah I didn't know you still had cats. Yeah I would just have the cats removed and then just have them make you an H pipe. Otherwise your basically just paying for a brand name. All those things are is regular piping formed into an H basically

yeah i know what you mean. I don't remember but I'm just about positive there are 4 cats. As long as you only remove 2 of them it should sound ok. Pretty sure its 2 midpipe, 2 headers

if you want to avoid rasp, leave all the cats in place. they're only taking like 3 hp anyway

Yeah 6'ers without cats are raspy as hell and sound like crap. Leave them.

$300 is not much to work with. I would rather save it up for headers or a power adder.

Leave the cats, never heard a v6 sound good w/o them. I installed my MGW shifter today and was going to recommend that but then I remembered you have an auto. I actually can't think of a good worth-while performance mod for <$300. I have a dry zex kit that I will sell you for less than $300 lol.

For $50 add a tranny cooler to your car and do the Jmod to your trannys valve body to firm the shifts and make it run cooler and last longer.

Yeah, Jmod sounds good. A sloppy tranny can ruin good performance in other areas.

ebay CAI, and 25% Under drive pulley setup. that will add a nice gain for the money. prolly around 10-12rwhp or so.

the H-pipe wont add anything really but it would help the sound, if Cats or left on.

You really think CAI and UDP are worth that much rwhp? If thoes really free up that much hp then they'd be worth it.

ya. UDP is one of the best bolt-ons there is. made alot of difference when i put it on. CAI is worth about 3rwhp and 7rwhp for the UDP.

Makes sense, 10hp isn't really a lot. But 10 here and 10 there, adds up eventualy. So Stang Power, any decisions yet?

J-mod is free with only new tranny fluid and filter needing to be done along with drilling some holes in the valve body and removing some checkballs.

I wish I had done the J-mod to my v6, I did it the bad way with a programmer.
