are you confused with taking the stock intake out and getting out the mass air sensor? or have you already done that and looking for help on how to install it?

Only the 05+ V6's need a tune after putting in a CAI. Our cars are less controlled by electronics than those.

don't even sweat it. Once you start pulling stuff out and putting the new one in you will be like "dang i was worried for nothing".

Modding your car is fun man, enjoy yourself.

You'll be pretty happy when you turn your car on for the first time after putting the CAI in and noticing some subtle changes in sound, maybe even throttle response (assuming you still have the air-silencer on the stock intake)

if you leave the stock intake in, yes- take it out. But when you get a CAI or SRI, you end up removing it anyway. It's basically a funnel-shaped piece that leads from the intake housing where the filter is to the fender well.

k i just finnished putting in the cai and i must say that it sounds much better. i was a little tricker then it was suposed to be. but i cant really explain y. i could not figure out the aluminum stud things so i just got creative and figured something out with out them. so it still sits level and works but when i start the car i think i can hear it bounce like once. so idk mabe ill figure it out.

also the crank case vent hose just sits in that hole right cause i thought it should be tighter but i drove it for a wile and nothig bed happened

so yeah im very happy. i guess exaust is next.
