Swap from a 3.8 to a 5.4

how hard would it be to do this swap?

lol.. now yer talking.

4.6lv8's under 30k miles can be had for about 1200

same goes for the 5.4l v8s

ill be curiuos to see what is involved

I would like to know too I figure it's just about everything from the engine to the gas tank. but if the parts can be gotten for cheap I can get all the work done myself

prolly be easiest to get a donor car and just swap everything.

I'm worried that is the case and then why not just buy a gt unless I can find one with sever body damage and almost nothing internal.

it would be much easer to get a GT and then get the 5.4, your going to have to do a lot of work on the drivetrain. you would be better off to just supercharge it.

it's starting to sound like the only thing you'd be able to keep is the shell of the car, just the sheet metal. nothing else would bolt up. so my guess is that it'd be too expensive to do.
