k, i found the exhaust i want. http://www.borla.com/applications/lo...essive/140067/ that ...will i need a custom made H-Pipe to install it and thats it?

They sell o2 sensor extension kits if you need them. Not sure why they told you not to use longtubes. They probably don't know what there talking about. Are you going to a custom exhaust performance shop or one of the chains like meineke (sp?). Meineke and those chains typically don't know what they are talking about. Yes with a custom H pipe that borla exhaust will work since it will be custom they can fabricate it if they need to for it to fit.

one more quick Q. if i get it just custom made- if i'm doing 2.5" piping would i need 3" mufflers or the same size as the piping? and for the tips, would i need a 3" or 4" tips to fit the 2.5" piping ? LOL

I'm pretty sure if you just buy mufflers they are sized up by things like 2.5 inlet or something like that. I got a catback system off a website so mine came with everything included so I never really took note of the muffler size. Then most people will do either a 3 or 3.5 tips. Otherwise just call the company and they will tell you which muffler to get

what about this? or http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku but i want true duals. so would it just be better to go to a shop?

yes thats correct:
For shorty headers: http://www.macperformance.com/store/...ategory_ID=479
For Long tube headers: http://www.macperformance.com/store/...ategory_ID=475
Those do not have cats however so you will not pass emissions if your state is strict about that
