Default T-lok

You will need to buy and install a t-lok. Make sure it is for a 7.5 inch rearend. That will fix your problem. I will hopefully getting one as well shortly.

You can use the one out of the rangers, just a normal ford 28spline tlok

The one I found was from Ford Racing lists for 214.95. But I have not looked around for something cheaper yet.

pretty sure the ford one is one of the cheapest, unless you get a used one from a ranger.

if your going to replace it might as well get a new one...if your gonna replace something cause its broke upgrade, or if your replacing because you want better, buy new stuff...unless you know how to rebuild a rear end on your own

you just need one for a 7.5" ford rear if you get a used ford ranger one you can get the posis clutch pack rebuild kits for 40 bucks. Thats all it takes to make an old posi work like new so it pays to find a good used one.

Well this does give you "posi". Ford just calls there posi a "T-lok" short for traction lock. Its just a posi and no v6 mustang has them you have to buy one and get it installed or swap for a GT/mach1/or older cobra 8.8" rear end.

that makes one tire go bald before the other doesnt it? Some r3dn3cks where im from do that on their mud bogging trucks and on the street it made one tire go bald a lil before another. I think it was the right side.

No its just locks them so they both spin at the same time. Whatever tire is going on the inside of a corner will hop and wear out faster because the the axles are locked and the outside wheel travels farthers so the inside has to spin or hop too keep peace which eats up the tire.
