Default New weird sound

Every time I step on the gas I get a weird squeaking clicking sound coming from the engine bay... It just now started to happen when I sit in drive at red lights also. When I put the car in Neutral it calms down and you can barely hear it. I live in Ohio where it's been like 10 degrees for 3 weeks now so I hope it's from the cold. I wanted to ask you guys first what you think it may be before I bring it into a shop. Thanks guys!

that might actually be the issue, i've had some noises comin from my car lately when it was really cold at night, when the dealer checked they said everything was fine...and the noise has left now that it's warmed up...

I hope so... This sound is getting on my nerves and summer doesn't come to Cleveland until about July (haha) I might still have it checked out, i'm afraid it might be knocking.

There is a big difference between a squeaking and clicking noise. Squeaking could be a noisy throw out bearing in the tranny would go away when clutch is pressed, worn belt, worn pully bearings ex.ac clutch or tensioners or could be moisture between the belt and pullies which will go away when it dries out. Clicking is much worst which could be an exhaust leak, problem with valvetain or worst case a spun bearing in your engine block. Try to listen to it and trace the source if its coming from the oil pan its not good.
