Default there are too many choices

so ive finally saved enough money to do something. I just cant decide what? Should i get exuahst, or a sct tuner? I would do gears and a tlock but i have to have a tuner for my speedo so im leaning toward exauhst and then getting gears and a tuner together. All help is greatly welcomed, thanks.

its an 02 v6, and the reason i want to get exahust is because it will sound good and give me som hp. If you know of a good side exahust, let me know, spin tech is what im looking at right now, im hoping to use the gt model and have a shop put straits on after my cats to the muffler. what do you think?

headers will give you more HP... and losin the cats will free up some too... cat back wont do much

gears are the best bang for yer buck

and a tuner will improve MPG, throttle response, and also gain power...

I'd go gears... especially on an under powered V6

the V6 headers flow fine until you add boost. no need to waste time/money on V6 headers. Gears are definately the best thing to do for a the V6.
Just curious but how much $$$ do you have to spend on your car Pooterstang

I bought a bone stock V6 a year and a half ago... bought a tuner, K/N FIPK II, and single exit SpintTech. So far I'm very happy with the car. Did a few other things for appearance but thats all performance wise..

Gears and a TLock are a thought... but I haven't decided if I want to put any more money in the car.

Have fun... it's rather addictive.

My pics are in the PIC section at the top of the page.

Spintech is the **** when it comes to V6 exhausts, i got the dual exit and love it. not to rag on Tennstang, but if your guna go side exit try and go both sides, looks real mean and clean.

thanks everyone. I was planing on getting the dual side exit setup from spintech, the only question i have is will the cat back for the 4.6 and 5L work on my 02. It says it only works up to 01, but ill be haveing a shop fab straits to the mufflers. Here is the page.http://www.spintechmufflers.com/spin...ntechindex.asp
Its the one that says mustang(all). thanks again.

I make pretty good money so every month I can save about $500. I just had to spend some dough though so im a little under where I should be right now.
Yea im not planning on headers for a good while. But gears and a tuner will defenatly be my next mod after i get exhaust.

Mine was 530 for the kit, it's a y pipe set up and really easy to install. I'm guna get Long Tube headers and an offroad hpipe from Mac soon. Spintech isn't the cheapest, but it's the best for a V6 in my opinion. Think about it this way, you save on having the retarted hang down muffler in the rear.

better do more than gears and/or a catback if you plan on beating GTs at the track. basically you need to add nitrous to keep up or a supercharger or turbo/twin turbo setup if you want to be beating GTs. Save your money and go big or its a waste.
