Default Drivetrain Install

OOK so i figure ill let you guys in on whats going on with my setup incease you care.

So i bought a Geforce spec T5 transmission good to ~ 650tq (i've heard of people launching with 750 and it holding )

I also got an alluminum Driveshaft and a built 8.8" rearend (posi no spool)

SO i started the installation a couple weeks ago and borrowed my friends car, it all should be done by now but there was one bolt that it seems the head of the bolt had seised to the alluminum in the bellhousing, long story short, we stripped the bolt, then tried to use a bolt out, and stripped it with the bolt-out. Then finally, i jacked up the car some and went at it with a cutting wheel, some grinding stones, and an air chizzel! We finally got it off after hours of grinding, we literally grinded the head of the bolt off so the bellhousing slipped right off.

So yesterday i took the old clutch and pressure plate off (they were in DAMN good shape for me running arround with 300wtq and 435wtq for a year and a half!! the flywheel didnt look to bad so i put the other clutch on, its a Mcloud Duel performance 500hp diaphram clutch kit it has kevlar disks, its supposed to be good to 500hp and shifted at 6500rpms, so its good for me. 26spline ftw!! I had to go jack an allignment tool from autozone (shh dont tell)

Then i swapped the tailshaft housings on the T5 because the new tranny was a 99-04 tranny (it has electrionic speedo and backup lights) so at the momen the RTV silicone is curing on the tranny and its waiting to be put in, add some fluid, then i can go powershift that bitch!

more updates to come!

So you have been working on the car it looks like. Awsome stuff now you just need slicks on some v6 wheels.

well the v6 wheels are lik 16lbs so they are pretty light w/e they will work for now.

Now the question is. . . 5k dump? or build boost at the line?

Got the tranny in late lastnight, put the driveshaft on, left everything else.

I need to put the starter back on, and attach my exhaust. After that i should be ready to rock!

whos car is that? and i hope for your sake he only running 6psi or your not gonna be happy about it. at a whopping 8psi our cars normaly make right around 400rwhp with the right size turbo. So that might be a kick *** race.

PS-get it on video bro! hell if you come over this way to do it i bet i can get rick to tape it and make a video for ya. And of course your gonna do this at the track where its legal

im not sure wtf it does to be honest, he just posted up "hey someone race me" so i just said "ok"

if it is the person i am thinking of he was at a dyno comp locally and only made just under 420whp at ~12-14psi

very weak imo, but that might not be the same guy.

But I will be going to the local Ricer meet tonight and potentially race a Nitrous Injected LS1 I think he dyno'd at 360whp but i duno which jets those were. Tonight he miight bring anything from 100-175. I feel confident as long as he doenst go more then 125. Then its all up in the air

OK the clutch/tranny is in. But i have issues . . .

i need to adjust the clutch, because atm, the clutch isnt engaging all the way when i let the clutch out.

Also, 1st 2nd and 3rd gear whines wicked bad . . Like it sounds like i have a freaking Weiland blower on my car. Im not sure if this is normal or not
