Guys I'm mostly looking to put my 97 GT motor in a later model 99-04 GT but if putting the whole drivetrain will work than would be great. will it work? any details I should know about? is it worth it? I'm on a tight budget too.

 

if your putting in a non-PI motor to replace a PI motor than it is not worth it. is there something wrong with the 99-04 GT motor?

 

it'll mostly work. The 99-04's used different ignition bits and a couple changes to the wire harness for sensors. It's best to do that swap the other way around.

Jareds98 just put my 03 4.6 into his 98gt. He'll have a good idea about compatibility.
