i have a 01 3.8 mustang it keeps cutting out

i have changed the fuel filter spark plugs and wires

it idels fine just when you start to drive it sputters and acts like its starving for fuel or skipping

when it starts to sputter there is no smoke coming out of the tail pipe

please post if there is somthing else i can check and were to start lol

 

stick or auto?

i had it put on a machine and they told me the only trouble that come up up transmision out of range or somthing of that nature
