if your serious about making big power.
go to these people
www.astroperformance.com
This guy is great, he does geforce spec T5's good to 650tq in our cars. I believe you can get rearends there too
www.rpmmustangs.com www.supersixmotorsports.com
those two are the big engine builders, either one works, tell them what you want to do and they will hook you up with a forged stroked motor
www.tmaturbo.com
Andy is great, he is prolly busy but he is the only guy that makes the kits for our car, get with him and tell you what you want.
With all that, get a cage and suspensiion and some slicks and go run 10's/9's

we've kinda put the cart before the horse a little... forgot some basic questions like:
What kind of racing? Are you looking to road course/open track, 1/4 mile, 1/8mile, circle track, open road race, etc...?
Power is only part of the equation. You'll need to pay attention to class rules, and you'll want to attend to suspension, safety and brakes in addition to the blower and other goodies.

You'll want to familiarize yourself with the NRHA rule book. As you achieve certain performance levels you'll have to upgrade the car with safety systems. If you don't have the correct safety equipment for each level you risk being asked to leave your favorite track.
