Which mac exhaust do i need?

Default Which mac exhaust do i need?

Im getting the cat back kit with the stock y pipe. there are 2 on this site that are listed, ones a little more expensive....

I was reading that i might need exhaust hangers too. unless they come with the kit. otherwise i saw some at www.v6mustangstuff.com

Mine came with hangers when putting in the exhuast. BUt its also an 03 GT so there's a chance yours doesnt. Just jack it up and see if there's anything thats above the axle(thick rubber pieces)

yeah I got hangers also...technically either one should work...what year is your mustang again? the first one is 94-98 and the second is 94-97 thats about all u need to know...other then that it should be just choosing...

This reminds me i need to go out and get my exhaust tips fixed...

Either one you'll be ok. Even a 99-04 exhaust will fit on are models.

i kinda figured that either would be ok, i just didnt understand why one is $30 more than the other

Get w/e one is cheapest i say they both read the same and will fit no matter what.

Nice, and it comes with chrome tips...ur car is guna be blinging soon!... I heard a full Mac LTs-Catback exhaust the other day here in town and I was really impressed!...You should like it...

Mac does indeed sound good. The exhaust tips are awesome btw.

Sorry to take over the thread, but its about MAC exhaust. If i got the MAC exhaust that comes off the y-pipe would i be able to change out my stock cats for hi-flow cats??? And if i could would it be something a couple of teenagers could do with some knowledge about cars? Or would it be better to have a mechanic install the hi-flow cats??

Well are cars have 4 cats you could get ride of two, but someone would have to weld pipes in there place.

Mine or his? And yeah he has to watch for the chrome, cuz it'll rust easier then Stainless Steel....

You have spintech. I was refering to his exhaust he wants to buy.
