Anyone think that $106.00 for 245/45/17 NItto Extreme 555's are a good deal? My Goodyear gatorbackz are bald!

 

Heck yah, pick um up, love them DR's and i've still heard nothing but great things about the regular 555's

 

Sure is! I paid $125.00 each for my 255/45/17's mounted & balanced. Would have bought them in 255/40/17, but I didn't know they made that size. Shoulda done more homework.

 

if its non drag radial then yeah thats a good price.

I have had 10 Nittos 555 extreme tires with no issues.

 

I'm guessing you're looking at tires.com for that price, which is what I did as well. Keep in mind that there is a metric buttload of shipping on top of that, and those are not mounted/balanced!

I just ordered them from my local America's Tire Co. (owners of tires.com) Set of 4 mounted balanced, etc, was $515 out the door. And that was with some haggling the price down.

DiscountTireDirect.com is a SVTP.com forum vendor. Go over there and see if they can get you a discount. I recently read through some of their threads about the Nitto NT05 tires and they seem very knowledgeable, helpful, and all around nice guys.
