sarge is a moderator on ls1.com. works in the oil industry and is very reputable. basically you add 1oz/5 gal of gas of 2 cycle oil that is NMMA TC-W3® rated. has turned out some pretty good results. i'll be doing this in both cars.

Hmm. The MPG's aren't really that interesting to me...seeing as how I might gain 10-15 miles to a tank. But the cleaning of the plugs and rings etc... I think it would be worth it just to have a cleaner and smoother running engine. I think I'll start in the test fleet sometime this weekend.

makes sense to me. 2 stroke oil is designed to be burned and most 2 stroke engines have to take some serious abuse and high revving. It sounds like the MPG benefit isn't that much, but supposedly it keeps the engine clean and lubed up. I'll be trying this as well, using my dads 2 Rangers as test mules. If anybody else actually does this please post back up and let us know how it works

Its cool stuff for sure. I found it very interesting so I shared. I am trying it on the g/f focus which idles ruff for no reason at all. I just added the oil on this last tank so I will see what happens. They say give it 2 or 3 tanks before you see good changes in how the motor runs. We will see.

In all reality... it sounds like it would be a good thing to do from the first time the motor turns over till it dies... if the chemistry is right

from what i read, you would put 3 ounces the first time on a full tank, then 1 oz to every 5 gallons to maintain the ratio

I went and bought some of the suggested oil, now I just have to work up the guts to pour it in.

word that was the hard part for me too.

I've had it in my tank for almost a week now, haven't really noticed anything yet. I will be keeping track though for the next couple of tanks.

Its 2 stroke oil it wont hurt it, its ment to be burned. Just add it being sure to fallow the correct ratio and see what happens. The focus gets such good mileage that It still hasnt eaten that first tank up yet.

Focus still runs the same after 2 tanks. They said it will take 3 tanks to see effects.

I used it for 6 tanks on the focus, it still idles ruff and nothing has changed. Don't bother with it didn't do anything for us.
