halo3 ftl. i never liked any of the halo games. to me its just another FPS with aliens. IMO, console game devs need to get off the 'o no the aliens are coming, lets kill em!' motivation for their games.

 

I've only played the Halo series a couple of times since I've always been a playstation guy....however, I recently purchased an xbox 360 so I'm sure I'll be picking up this game. Looks sweet

 

i just watched a trailer in HD for h3. i GUESS ill download it while im at work today...

 

i ordered a game because i wasnt expecting the base to get copies anytime soon. i talked to the electronic store (powerzone) and they said they will have copies on the 25th for sale. store opens at 9 am so i got 13 hours. i take a test in the morning ill finish that at 830 and hopefully there isnt a line at 9 am. i have to be back in class at 920 hope i can make it.

i was downloading it as well but the power went out on my transformer so i got a adapter to plug my PC into a german outlet and i forgot to switch my powersupply to 230 volt input. sparks shooting out of my PC wasnt as funny as i thought it would be. 41 dollar mistake, i hope.

 

I haven't liked either of the other two Halos, but I might get this one. Everyone and their mother will be playing so who knows. It does look alright, but I like more of the real life FPS rather then shooting aliens with weird sci-fi guns. Shoudl be interesting though.

 

Wow you guys are missing the point of Halo. Its not shooting at aliens in the campain or co-op but playing it on Live or in lan parties in multiplayer. I have had countless lan parties at home and its alot of fun that cannot be duplicated on xbox live or in the story mode.

 

that can be said about a multitude of games. i just dont know why everyone gets their panties in a bunch when a new halo game comes out. i played the xblive MPBeta and it wasnt that fun. its just another deathmatch with different weapons.

 

i just got an xbox and halo 3 for my birthday. we should get a MB Halo game going. I'm sure a lot of you have this game too. My Gamertag is codiddy760 if anyone wants to hit me up

Well I decided to pick Halo 3 up. It's pretty fun. The online is definitely the best part of the game though. It's pretty sweet you can save clips and take screenshots. Nothing like recording a clip of you sniping some guy in the head.

Halo 3 is ok, online is great. But i feel the gameplay could be a little better.
I still like Gears of War Better!

 

Hell yeah. I like online Halo 3, but I don't see why people think it's so great. It's not like it redesigned first person shooters. Fun game, but gears is better.

 

word. halo is the gayest game i have ever seen. waste of time, waste of money.

 

i love the online matches greatest online ive played yet. but the actual game is the same as b4 its seems to me. i dont even bother w/ the game part cept when im board, to unlock the armor for online play.
