Default Tire prices

Why the **** are 315/35/17 sumis' $160 EACH and 255/40/17 HTRZ-IIIS $128 each from tire rack!!?? Did their ******* plant get hit in the tsunami or something?

BFG KDW-2s are only $8 more each for 255s so that's what I will be getting for the front, but tirerack doesn't have any comparable 315s that aren't drag radials..where do you guys get your tires from?

Looks like AM has the 315s for $140, much better deal especially with free shipping. I liked the HTRZ-IIIs up front but there is no way they are on the same tier as KDW-2s, for the price.

I feel as if a factory automatic 3.8 is not worthy of NT555s. lol.

Prices went up big time. My motor build just grew by 400 bucks due to increases in vendor costs.

I usually pay 200 dollars a tire for any vehicle i'm in. My current Goodyear Eagle F1's were like 175 or 200, i forget.

Tires can make or break a vehicle. I don't see any harm in spending a good amount on some tires. I only spent $180 including shipping for my two Michelin PS2 tires, great tires. They were almost halfway used when I got them though.

The point was that prices have sky rocketed on items. I had stuff on watchlists and seen that prices have gone up 15-20%... pretty gay. Dollar is getting weak. Couple weeks ago I dumped my stocks and bought silver coins to replace it with.

yeah I was going to use tirerack the other day and then they broke me when I hit total and they wanted like $30 for shipping so I was better off going through AM for the tires with free shipping and a lil % code applied by some helpful people I got them shipped for under 200.

Tires have never really been cheap, funny that Stanger00 mentions about the dollar to coin ratio, a friend of mine watches that method rather heavily lately.

I started with silver stock and sold to buy physical silver. The coins I bought have zero face value because those become tricky. I like to keep it simple. I havent even put hands on them yet and I wont till maybe later next month.

Relevant to the thread I looked up tires that I buy and the prices are still the same, awesome. Must be Sumi raising prices.

These companies are probably adjusting prices due to high oil costs would be my guess.
