Default Need help on what rims to buy...

...So I'm mostly leaning toward Saleen rims for my yellow 02. I'd be getting black or black chrome. I've never seen black chrome in person, so I do not know if it looks better than just black. Could I get some insight on this? Also, if you think a different set of rims would suit my car better, feel free to advise.

I was also thinking 18x9s in the front, and 18x10s in the rear.

I have a set of saleens, and i Love them. But theyre soo hard to keep clean. I would love to have them in black. But on your car, black 17 FR500s. 9 front 10.5 back.

Any sizes should be 18s imo. Dont go over 9 on the front or youll get rubbing bad when steering. Cant go wrong with bullitts but i wish i had FR500s on my car..

No need to do 10.5 in the rear though. That's a pretty big waste of money in your situation.

Fat tires are badass, but on a car that does not need them, they're pointless.

Not being a hater, just don't want you to blow money on some wide tires when you don't really need them.

They look nice. And u can get sumi 315's for 125 a piece so its worth it. Honestly I feel like my saleens dont hang as well in wet roads as my mach1's do with 245s.

WHA?? Seriously? On what planet are Cobra wheels getting overplayed, especially in DD. I have never seen one set of DD Cobra rims, let alone in black chrome here in TN other than mine. There are literally only 4 people (in forum land) in a 2-300 mile radius of me that have black chrome wheels at all and none of them are DD Cobras.

OP. 17or18/9 BC Saleen's would look nice, but nothing is going to look all that great until you lower the car.

I just sold two sets of Cobra wheels to guys who own GTs. One was a DD set that I can't afford to put tires on.

Here, that's all I ever see. The guy at work with a nice 2v has them, my roommate has them on his car, and that's all I really ever see.

Same here about the Cobras, almost every Mustang that's modded has them where I live. So, I'm staying away from them.

About lowering the car? Yes, I have plans to do that, as well. I don't want my Mustang to look like a Jeep lol.

However, I WAS planning on getting DD for the rear rims, and I don't believe they make DD Saleens do they?
