18*9 tires
Okay i have 18 by 9 chrome bullitts i bought from a friend. They have 245/40/18 tires on them but they are shot. I'm buying new tires for them soon and dont know what size to get so it wont rub. I have a 2000 V6. They were previously on a 98' and didnt rub. I just want a list of tires i can put on them. I also just bought 1in wheel spacers, will these affect anything?
Thanks

put the spacers on the back if you want more of a flush fit...i think that might be too much spacer for that rim but im not sure since i never ran spacers.
275/35 tire will do you just fine...you want something that will be close to 26" radius so your speedo isnt all jacked up.
mud flaps are ghey...i had some on my subaru and my mazda though. i would just never put them on my mustang, plus, my rear bumper is already chipped up from the 315's

I also have 18x9 rims and I run 265/35 and im lowered too and I have no rubbing issues at all. Do away with the spacers too IMO they only add more stress to the wheel bearings and other parts. The mustang specific rims already have the corect back spacing to keep the weight of the car right where it should be.

I'm running 18x9 with 265/35s too... how do you like that combo. I'm thinking of going for a little taller profile to see if that helps the ride but I love the handling. Also, running 50 PSI right now, what do you run?
