Default 17x10.5 wheel fitment question

315/35-17 tires on 17x10.5 wheels
what will the fitment issues be with this tire wheel set up on a 87 lx?
I have a fender roller so that's not an issue. is there any clearance issues with the inner fender or tail pipes that will need to be addressed

It has been done but I think you'll need a bfh. What style of wheel are you after?

Just so you know as I understand it there is A LOT of clearancing that has to be done to fit the 10.5 wheel and you do have to remove the quad shocks too. Since you have to remove the quad shocks you would need to upgrade your control arms to prevent wheel hop. It is possible but it is more work than most guys are willing do to fit them.

BTW lets see some pics of your car.

Edit- I forgot to mention ride height issues. I don't think it will work if your car has lowering springs.

good luck with 10.5" on a fox. Won't work without HUGE expense and PITA and custom offset wheels.

Very nice! I love me a clean notch. I may pick up another fox in a year or maybe sooner. I would love to have another 85 or 86 with Mavromonts 17x8 and 17x10 Pony R's

Like this.
