Default Fitment question

I have a 1998 Gt, with a newly installed maximum motorsports strut tower brace

I want to purchase a intake, im thinking jlt ram air intake.
I have no idea if this will fit under the tower brace, anyone have any idea?
or does anyone have this on their ride?

This is straight from their website about the intake "WILL NOT FIT WITH STRUT TOWER BRACE."

Those STB are worthless on these cars anyhow sell it someone who doesn't know and get the intake instead if you really want that.

Or keep it and pull the intake silencer off and toss in a highflow filter. Works just as good.

I guess i'm one of those people who didn't know.

In the future i wanted to do a pi swap so i figured an intake, throttle body, and plenum would all help increase some numbers from a dyno tune. If i went with a larger maf, i figured the jlt would work(i believe they can fit up to a 90mm?maf)

anyway thanks for letting me know

....although it seems to fit here

From your avatar you look to have a 99-04 GT so you already have PI heads and intake. And a maf swap will not get you more power. You only swap mafs once your stock maf can no longer handle the added airflow from a supercharger/turbo setup.

I have a STB and was able to get my JLT to fit and sorry, but i don't agree with the statement that STB's are worthless.
