Default Deep Dish Problems

I have a set (2) of the 10.5 deep dish rims in back of my Mustang. The problem is the deep dish lip is all messed up. My guess is that they are pitted. along the whole lip it looks like worms made little roads all of the rims. Anyone know what the cause of the problem is? These wheels had never seen a winter or salt. Now I think I may need to buy a new set. They were bought here. I am just afraid to buy a new set again if they are made with poor quality. Any help would be nice.

Thanks
Blake

If it's just the paint have them sand blasted and painted again. I'd go with Powder Coated.
