Default Standard Dish (not deep dish) Bullitts (17x10.5)

I am thinking about these 17x10.5 wheels for the rear. I like the deep dish look, but saw these standard non-deep dish ones which might be more subtle. Think sleeper, but with meats!

Does anybody have these? Are they made by Wheel Replicas? Or AFS Wheels?

Does the color match 01-02 GT bullitts or 03-04? Real-life pictures? The picture on this site looks like the same pic for the 17x9.

Hmm, I guess a guy like me should drop the cash and answer my own questions when UPS delivers.

Nobody has seen these?

I know some people in my Bullitt club who have gone with the deep dish in the rear and they said that the color is off a little bit. Just enough you can notice is you know what you are looking for.

You're right, I've seen this in person. The deep dish wheels match the 03-04 bullitt wheels, but not the 01-02 bullitt wheels. The 01-02 are bit lighter.

I am curious about these NON-deep dish wheels that are still 10.5 inches wide. I don't see them on the Wheel Replicas website so I was curious who they are made by and if they are the same color as the deep dish ones.

I have 02 wheels. I may need to buy 03-04 wheels for the front to match if I buy the wide rears. I want to keep the 17x8's on the front -- I am more into a drag car than taking corners.

Anyone know about these 10.5" NON-deep dish wheels?

You want something smaller in the front like a 17x9 Jeff.

As far as what MT carries, we carry the 10.5 in Deep Dish only (10.5 = Deep Dish). There isnt anything that is 10.5 inches that is not called deep dish that are made by Wheel Replicas. Deep dishes have a 3in. lip on them with a 27mm offset hence why they are called deep dish.

I believe as of today (Monday) we're out of stock on the deep dish wheels in 17x10.5, but you could always call and I can check the stockroom for you

Chris,

Could you explain the difference between these 2 wheels? One says Deep Dish and one says Standard Dish. I did a screen capture from: http://www.mustangtuning.com/17inchwheels.html

Thanks!

Just from looking at the colors I would assume the standard 10.5" width is for the 2005 since it is the same color as the one below it, the 17X9 for the 2005. Just a thought though.

The lip on the Deep dish is a 3" lip. The standard lip on the 17x10.5 is smaller. Thats the big difference between the two.

Ok, so you DO sell non-deep dish 17x10.5 wheels. Could you post a picture of an actual wheel? Are these standard lip wheels made by Wheel Replicas or someone else?

The reason I ask is, I am wondering what color they are. I'd like to know if they are the exact same Anthracite color as the deep dish wheels that match 03-04 factory bullitt wheels or if they match the 01-02 factory bullitt wheels.

Ok, here is what I have learned from my research on replica bullitt wheels:

Wheel Replicas
- Anthracite color is very close to 03-04 factory bullitt wheels
- They make the 10.5" wide, deep dish wheels
- http://www.wheelreplicas.com

TopLine (aka Verde)
- Color is lighter and more silver compared to the 01-02 factory bullitt wheels
- They make the 10.5" wide, standard dish wheels
- http://www.tradeunion.com/verdewheels/index.html

EDIT: To describe the images, the first one is the standard dish TopLine on a Bullitt. The 2nd pic compares the TopLine to the 01-02 factory wheel. The 3rd pic shows the built-in spacer/offset of the TopLine. The 4th pic shows the offset of the Wheel Replicas deep dish.

Hope this helps anyone that is looking for replica wheels.
