Default DD Tire Sizes for 17x10.5

What are the various tire sizes one can put on this size rim, everything I see points towards 315x35x17

What are the sizes for a little smaller size tire, like is there a 285,295 or 305 dimension?

I am all for a beefier tire in the back, its just the cost of them!

Another thing to consider in your research is that certain tire brands are more narrow for a specific size. I've always heard Nittos are significantly more narrow for a given size than others. I would suggest looking at pictures of specific model tires on DD wheels that other people have. Theres alot of info and pictures over on corral.net in the wheel and tire forum.

315's fit the best IMO... but you can put a 285 on there if you can find a 285/35/17 tire...

a 275 is meant for a 17x9...nothing wider than that.

Could you send me a link, because everything I was finding yesterday was $124 shipped per tire there... thanks!

*** I did just find them for $98 at this site: http://www.onlinetires.com/default.a...sults&Paging=2 ***

I have never heard of this site, but who knows! And it comes out to $257 shipped!

No doubt!!

$124 a tire is cheaper than any tire I think I have bought in years.

Not always true at all. Kuhmos are great tires and much more inexpensive then their rivals.
