Default which tire sizes now?

I recently just ordered Kumho Ecsta MX tires from tirerack. These are the sizes i ordered (2) 245/40/18 and (2) 275/40/18. I then got an email stating that the tire sizes are shorter than recommended and that i should be using different sizes. What sizes should i go with? i have 18x9 saleens, and a eibach pro kit drop. What sizes would work best without rub?? thanks

I'd say go with the 275/40/18's all the way around.

I would just stick with 275's if it were me. Tire Rack, while I love them, is very conservative.

Check with someone who has the same rims. I have 275's on mine. 275's are stock on Cobras.

yup mine rubs up front the way it is with 255/40/18...

I just talked to some shops around here and Jake from tire rack and they talked me into getting 245/40/18 up front and 275/40/18 in the rear...i think it should look pretty sweet with a fairly small tire up front and a fatty in the rear...(just how i like it)

they also said another good reason for keeping a smaller tire in the front is to not lose the purpose of the 4.10 gears...true or not?
