So do you want a street tire or a drag radial?

For a drag radial you can actully DD on the Nitto 555r's are the only way to go. As you can get 15k miles out of them, they arent bad in the rain, and hook alot better then any street tire will.

Ok now what are the best sizes to get ive been looking at all of the forums talking about getting the different sizes as far as 285's or 305's on the rears what is the difference between the two?

The 305s are going to be a little wider and look a little better IMO, but sometimes a hard size to find. I have 295s on my 18x10 rims and would have liked to have 305s, but 285s will work. Thats the only difference, the 305 tires will bulge a little more.

Have you given any thought about what type of tire your looking for? Like drag radial, summer only tire, All-Season? Will you be doing any type of racing or only street use? It will help us give you some opinions.

285 or 305 is the width of the tire he is talking about. So a 285mm tire is not as wide as a 305mm tire. with 10" wide rims you can run 315's max on them, but your mostly gonna find 305 tires in that rim size.

And since you want an all season now, then traction wont be your first priority as no street tire will hook up that great. However I have always like the kuhmo ASX.
