I just bought 2 18x9 and 2 deep dish 18x10 bullits. Which size and tires should i get? Any pics would be helpful. Thank you

Mine are 265/35/18's and 285/35/18's.................

hey thanks for the respond. How much did the tires cost you? and do u think some 245/40/18 will look good on the deep dish?

245's arent going to work. the least u need is a 285 for the deep dish. ull end up wanting more tho.

All 4 tires cost me right at $850 and I know the owner of the tire shop.245's would'nt work,the 2 sizes I have are at least a size smaller than I wanted,but they match up well and I like them alot now.Would of liked 295/35/18's for the rear but could'nt find them in stock anywhere locally.

I dont like the way the 285's look on the Deep Dish Wheels....it looks like the rim sticks out more than the tire......

They don't on mine,maybe on the 17x101/2 not the 18x10's.

if you had some patience you could of found some on tirerack or disounttiredirect. there are few sizes for the 18's but they are out there.

After waiting on the rims to come back in stock,I did'nt want to wait

i have the saleen 18x9 rims on all four and my tire sizes are 255/40zr18's...michelin pilot sport drag radials...around 250 apiece

Default 18x9 and 18 x10

just installed mine. 295/35 WR18 Firehawks on back ($189 each from tiresavings.com - allow 2 - 3 weeks to arrive - they're slow but cheap - shipping was $14 per tire) 275/35 WR18 Falkens on front. Car is equipped with Steeda G-Trac (1.2" Sport springs, C/C plates, strut tower brace, sub-frame connectors, Baer brakes, Hawk pads, etc, etc) Sticks like mad.

Just looking at the post i have 245/40 Sumitomo very nice on my v6 love the tire. Got all 4 for like $365

I have 18x9's on the front and 18x10's out back, and the tires are 295/35 18" Firestone Firehawks on the back and 275/35 18" Falken's on the front. The 295's were chosen as my least favorite that however was much the cheapest tire ($189 each from www.tiresavings.com - be advised their service ran 2 - 4 weeks getting me these tires...). Shipping was $57 for all 4.

I wish the car weren't a daily driver, so I could use 315 series drag radials - but these tires would only last me about 6 months to a year, and it would be crazy replacing expensive tires every 6 months.

The Z, W and Y rated 315 series tires available in 18" (you really need more than an H rated tire on a GT) are either competition tires and drag radials, or tires costing almost $500 each (run flat versions intended for high end porsche or mercedes, for instance). These are truly fantastic tires - with truly fantastic prices, of course.

I'm happy with the firestones, though I wish they were wide enough to give the rims a bit more protection (their raised rib and the deep dish lips are just about even). 295 series tires are about as hard to find as 315's, but you might check out the new General UHP tires that tire rack is just introducing - you might have to call to find out about them, since they weren't on the web site a while back when I checked. I rather hope that more manufacturers bring out 18" in the 315 or 325 size - it would greatly help pricing, and selection as well.
