Keep in mind that REAL performance tires really do not have that much tead depth. Take a look at DR's for example. Too much tread depth is a problem when a performance tire is new as they don't perform well and they can actually break apart when pushed too much. So you really can't say that Sumis are cheap because they have 3 mm less tread depth. If that were the case, then all DR's would be cheap too. They are cheap because they come from Korea. These Sumis are designed to be able to run hard right out of the box.

Sumis ARE cheap...they are less than 100 bucks. lol.
