What tire size for 17 x 9 wheels
I just ordered some 17 x 9 wheels (Shelby Razors). For tires, I'm probably going with 245/45-17 fwd and 275/40-17 rear (Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3), but are there any other setups recommended?
I used to have 275/40-17 (Nittos) all the way around, but the front tires would rub on sharp turns.

245/45R17s are way too small for 17x9s, would look too funky. I had 275/40 GSD3s on the front of my Mach and never had any rubbing issues. Currently running 275/40R17 Goodyear F1 A/S tires up front and have yet to have a rubbing issue.

I already ordered the 17 x 9 wheels. My current front tires (245/45-17 are only a couple of months old, so i'll probably only order new rear tires (275/40-17) for now. I'm going to try out the 275's up front to see if they clear.
When i used to have 275's all the way around, they were Nittos. I'm getting Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires this time and I've heard different companies tire sizes all vary a little.
Thanks for the input guys.
