nope thats too wide. 275 is even a tad too wide. you could probably get away with it though(I wouldnt try it personally) you should see the bulge a 275 has on a 9inch rim(the most I would think is safe). it would be even more on an 8.5inch.

 

they are...just the right amount of bulge...they look great that way and work well too.
