i have 17 x9 rims with 245 45 17's on them right now...if i put 275 40 17's would my speedo be off from the sidewall being 5 mm difference

ok so just never mind that last post if i have 4 17 x9 rims and want bigger tires in the back prolly 275's what size should i put up front i dont want 275's all the way around plus thats to big for the front anyways.. i have 2 brand new 245 45 17s sittin right here right now if i could use them it would nice but i dont think i can since ima have to go with the 40 sidewalls in the back


just give me some opinions fast plzz

okay now after checking stuff out...everything ihave seen so far is...275 40 17 in back 245 45 17 up front is that okay???????????????? to me that seems wrong but what do i kno

275/40/17 is the same size (just aobut) as a 245/45/17 you will be good ot go i run that setup.

alright sounds good..but it still seems kinda odd to run a (even tho its minor) smaller diameter tire in the back

When you type M M it comes up as Maximum Motorsports

the larger width makes the tire taller.

There is no real difference. The 275/40s are .02 inches longer in diameter and driving 1 mile, they only turn 0.7 revolutions more than the 245/45. Here's a tire size calculator for ya.
