Default 08 Mustang Gt With Knocking Sound Up Front

My 08 GT makes a horrible knocking sound when going over even the smallest bumps in the road, does anyone know what this may be?

First check that all the bolts are tight. If that doesn't solve it, check your bushings. If that doesn't solve it, check your ball joints (lower, inner, and outer tie rods). My money is more on a worn ball joint.

The car only has 20,000 miles on it, I hope the ball joints are not worn out already. I will certainly go check though. Thanks bassman97.

You never know. If you drive it hard, things will wear out faster. Again, could always be a loose bolt/nut somewhere.

Default noise prob

how ironic, i have an 08GT and mine will make the X-ACT same noises. just going over little bumps or seams in the roadway or my apt's parking lot. and it does sound like something is lose, i ask this question on here several months ago if anybody else noticed these noises on their newer gt's. but yes, it does sound like what the guys mentioned above could b the problem. Hey man if and when you find out what the issue is, message me and let me know.

Yes, i know, a year later. But i only had like 18k miles on it, and it is an 08 model, so that tells you how much i drive it. I'm out of town alot, thats why it took so long. Thanks to the RailRoad.
